Our partnership with Fieldfisher

Fieldfisher has partnered with Mencap to form Rachel's Voice, a Health equalities project focused on tackling avoidable deaths in the learning disabled community

Fieldfisher LLP is a top 23 UK law firm. We are one of the UK's leading personal injury and medical negligence claims solicitors. For more than 30 years, we have helped thousands of people of all ages recover damages for injuries following medical treatment, as well as seeking restorative justice and campaigning for changes in the law to ensure better outcomes for vulnerable people. A large proportion of the clients we work with on medical negligence claims have an acquired learning disability.

Fieldfisher is committed to using the skills of our expert lawyers to improve our society. The firm's partnership funds an extensive ESG and pro bono programme, dedicated to making a positive contribution to the environment and society and widening access to justice. The Rachel's Voice project was conceived and established as part of that programme, underpinned by Fieldfisher’s medical litigation expertise.

The firm's commitment to making a positive impact on the world is supported and led from the top of the organisation:

“As a law firm, we are in a privileged position of having the resources, skills and influence to make a difference and, as Fieldfisher's new Managing Partner, I am determined that we use that position wisely.

We have started setting targets for what we want to achieve in terms of our environmental performance, social impact and good governance and we will continue to set more ambitious goals as we progress.

Our pro bono programmes are designed to deliver the greatest possible benefit to the causes and people we support and enable our lawyers and other staff to feel closer to these groups and wider society.”
